Bleghhh what am I doing?! First piece of HG art I’m posting after seeing the film! Did I like it? Hell yes! Was it perfect? Nope. But hey, I think they did a pretty decent book-film adaptation. I know I sort of fell off the HG bandwagon and I don't really feel like I'll be getting on it again for a long while, but that doesn't mean I won't churn out the odd piece every now and again. This was just some SUPER RANDOM spontaneous pencil doodle I made after seeing some of the newer Katniss fanart on here. I saw this one where she had straight bangs and I really, really loved it, so I think I'll change my Katniss design slightly to incorporate that. Oh, and I think from now on I'm gonna be more faithful to the book, so she's going to have darker hair and more ashy skin. I loved Jen's performance - she was brilliant, but she doesn't look like the Katniss I envisioned
